D-Day for Space School 2010 Approaches

Scottish Space School's 10th Anniversary

On 27th January 2000,  veteran NASA astronaut Bonnie Dunbar visited two schools in Glasgow and addressed 400 high school pupils in the City Chambers, and the Scottish School was born.  Happy 10th Anniversary!

Scottish Space School 2010

The Scottish Space School 2010 will be held at the University of Strathclyde from 13-18 June 2010.  The online application form is now up and running, and all S5 pupils studying maths and science subjects at Higher Grade are eligible to apply. ... (more)

 

The Scottish Space School programme, managed, co-ordinated and delivered in partnership by Skills Development Scotland,  the University of Strathclyde and the Scottish Space School Foundation USA, is designed to highlight the career and educational opportunities available to young people with an interest in science, engineering and technology.

The University of St Andrews will host a Space School programme for P 6 pupils attending primary school in Fife from 21-25 June 2010.
