Wow! Still having to pinch myself every now and again! I can’t wait for the trip to Houston; it truly will be a trip of a lifetime! I've enjoyed every step of space school so far, especially the rocket building challenge. Even staying in the university campus for the week in June was amazing, giving us all a real insight into university life. At the moment I'm not too sure exactly what I'd like to study but am looking into both mechanical and chemical engineering. Hopefully the trip will help me decide. I've always been interested in sciences and engineering and can safely say that these are my favorite subjects at school. I enjoy playing sports especially football for my local team and occasionally tennis with my friends. Music is definitely a big part of my life since I listen to quite a lot of it, from jazz to rock, and play bass in a band. I think the visit to Lockheed Martin to see the Orion capsule will be a highlight for me.
