| AGHHHH… was probably my initial reaction on discovering that I would have the opportunity to visit Texas, and NASA no less! And now, a couple of weeks on, the realisation still hasn’t sunk in. I thought that Round One of Space School was a completely unforgettable experience, so I can only imagine how amazing it will be to visit the true ‘hub’ for space exploration, which will hopefully help me to decide upon which science based career I would like to pursue. As I reminisce on June’s week at Strathclyde University, I think primarily of the fun that I had: completing challenges; launching rockets; staying in student accommodation; meeting inspirational figures and for a second I smile with nostalgia as I think of how it’s all over… but then I’m hit with the realisation that this journey isn’t over, it’s barely even begun! Now I can look forward to the Learning Journey to Houston which, at present, is only 51 days, 1235 hours, 74,115 minutes, 4,446,922 seconds away... Not that I’m counting!
