I actually have a ‘Houston 11’ blog. This is ridiculous! I think it’s clear from our consensually shocked response just how lucky we realise we are! To call the Scottish Space School an unforgettable experience is genuinely an understatement (APPLY!) I’m a sporty girl, caught between the world of Art and Science and for this reason the week proved invaluable. Between astronauts and planetariums I was bombarded with a million different tastes of really cool Engineering, team challenges and surrounded by brilliant like-minded people! I discovered that through engineering, I don’t really have to make a choice; I can combine calculus with creativity to concoct my dream career. Perfect! So now, as a ‘Houstonite’, I’m ready for the challenge and getting a greater insight into the work of elite scientists and engineers and using it as inspiration. I cannot wait for my premier voyage 'across the pond'! Roll on October!
